I have always been aware of the value of great PR, even as a young one. Back in the late 80s, my whole family were SO excited when the fabulous Selina Scott wore a cardigan that my Granny knitted as a commission.
Selina appeared on The Clothes Show wearing it and was also pictured in the Radio Times wearing Granny’s stylish handiwork. Amazing!
